Welcome Ninjafans!
Unless you had been living under a structurally sound rock, you would have no doubt seen/heard about the quake in Japan. Thankfully Kate, Kelly and I were shipped out on the monday after the quake so missed a lot of the evil shenanigans that followed.
We were a bit disappointed to be shipped out as we had literally just moved into our permanent accommodation in yokohama. We were in the middle of unpacking and sorting everything when we had to pack a suitcase and get to the airport. In hindsight, we are pretty happy with the decision, but are also itching to get back!
There are still no further updates on when we might get back, but as mentioned we are hoping sooner rather than later!
To keep my loyal fans entertained whilst on hiatus, here is a video of a nifty little doohickey located in the QANTAS club lounge in Narita.....(yes we need to adjust the size of the pour, but I want one!!)
In any case, both our Australian mobiles are active again and we hope to catch up with as many peeps as possible while we are back!
